McGregor is less than 2 hours from Cape Town and 15 minutes from Robertson along a tarred road which meanders past farms, orchards and vineyards, and is home to several local wine farms, Rhebokskraal Olive Estate, Temenos Retreat, a Donkey Sanctuary (Patron David Kramer), good Restaurants, and a potter, as well as a number of artists including the renowned Edna Fourie, who has an Art Gallery on the main street of McGregor. Wine tasting, birdwatching, walking, hiking, cycling and scenic drives are popular passtimes in McGregor (you can even learn how to build your own cob house) but if peace, tranquility and a sense of timelessness are what you are looking for - McGregor's the place for you!

Our tastefully decorated McGregor country cottages are fully furnished and equipped for self catering, and each cottage has a fireplace and a braai as well as a private stoep. Situated a five minute stroll from restaurants and the centre of the village, they offer upmarket holiday accommodation for couples and each one of our four cottages has a character all it's own.
